Salon Policy
Thank you for understanding that these policies are vital to the sustainability of my business.
I’ve carefully created every policy and guideline below in a way that is designed to ensure that the service experience and quality of work delivered to all of my guests is the absolute best.
PRICING STRUCTURE
Please note that my pricing structure is based on a minimum cost, and a consultation is required to determine the exact cost and time required for your appointment. The prices listed on my website are the minimum and may vary depending on the service you require.

DEPOSITS
To secure an Extension/Color Correction appointment, a deposit is required at the time of booking. Please note that deposits are nonrefundable. If reschedule before 14 days, you can transfer your deposit to your next appointment 4 weeks. However, if you cancel within 14 days of your, you will forfeit your deposit as a for reserving and holding space. This policy is in place to protect my business as I unable to fill appointment spots on short notice.

CREDIT CARD REQUIRED
A credit card is required to be kept on file to schedule any appointment.

CONFIRMATION CALLS
As a courtesy, I do text and/or email to confirm the date and time 72 hours prior to your appointment. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times.

LATE ARRIVAL
To respect our schedule, we allow a 10-minute grace period for appointments Arriving 10+ minutes late may result in modified services or rescheduling with a $50 per service canceled fee.

SATISFACTION
No refunds offered. Complimentary adjustment available within four days if not satisfied. Color safe shampoo and conditioner must be purchased from Shannon Albert Hair to qualify for adjustment.

CANCELLATION OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Please provide 48 hours notice to reschedule or your visit, otherwise, you will be charged up to 50% of the service(s) amount. Not arriving to your scheduled appointment is considered a NO SHOW, and you will be subject a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the service(s) amount.
HOW TO ARRIVE​
To ensure a comfortable color service, we have wraps available and recommend changing into one. Please note that Shannon Albert Hair is not responsible for clothing during a color service. For the best results, please arrive with clean washed within the last 12 with minimal styling products and free of anyangles. Please note that anything more than simple detangling is not built into the service time.

PROUDUCT RETURN POLICY
Due to the nature of my small boutique business, and all items are FINAL SALE. This includes retail products, all hair, hairpieces of any kind, extensions, halos are FINAL SALE.

COLOR CORRECTION CONSULTATION
Consultations are required for color corrections.
Color history and the use of medications must be divulged when consulting. If you are under the care of an MD, it is your responsibility to research if color services are compatible with any prescription medication or cancer treatment which you are currently being treated with or have used prior to your color appointment.

A color correction contract MUST BE SIGNED before your color correction appointment begins. If you do not sign, the services will not be performed by the stylist and a cancellation fee will apply.

Below is a list of items to address with your colorist prior to your appointment - as these items may cause negative chemical reactions to the hair when mixed with salon chemicals services.

Previously over-processed hair.

Taking prescription medication: that inadvertently alters the bonds of the hair (methotrexate, sulfa based medications)

Thermal damage: by over-use of hot tools

Use of metallic dyes, salts, or minerals: (box color) or use of "over mineralized well water".

Use of henna or vegetable dyes.

Permed or relaxed hair.

If you are using Monat, you must let me know: color will react drastically different proper pre-color care in order to get desired results.
**It is my priority to conduct a thorough consultation for all services provided. However, it is each client's personal responsibility to be upfront and honest about their hair history and to research the items listed above. Any damage caused to the hair as a result of undivulged information during the consultation is not the responsibility of Shannon Albert Hair.
